1) RCGA rules apply (all players must have their RCGA membership – including spares)
2) Low Handicap in group plays to 0. All other players play off his handicap. E.G. (Low Handicap is 8: A Handicap of 20 would get 12 shots on first 12 handicap holes). Maximum Handicap of 36 is to be used.
3) Match is 18 holes. If match is tied after 18 holes it stays as a tie.
4) Scoring: 1 point awarded for winning hole. ½ point is awarded to each team if hole is tied. Team with most points wins the match and receives 2 extra points
Example. Team A wins 7 holes Team B wins 4 holes 7 holes are tied
Points are: Team A 12.5 Points (7+3.5+2=12.5 Points)
Team B 7.5 Points (4+3.5= 7.5 Points)
Very Important: This applies to both Wednesday and Monday Teams
5) Matches are to be completed on the scheduled date. All score cards must be handed in on scheduled date. Please make use of spares or play the game with one team member. You can not play the game in advance.
6) If a match is schedule and opposing team fails to show or cancels. The Team showing up is awarded a 12-0 win. A clearly written score card must be completed and handed in at the proshop confirming this or both team will receive a 0 score and a loss.
7) Teams who Forfeit more than 3 games may not be able to register for the 2012 season.
8) It is the winners responsibility to hand in a score card that clearly confirms the following:
Individual score totals (equitable)
Team points
• Both team will receive 0 points if the above is not clearly done.

If you do not have a handicap for the first game, talk to the golf course professional (Henry) and one will be assigned. The RCGA system will provide a handicap for you going forward.
* Games can only be postponed or cancelled due to weather. The proshop will make the call to cancel play by 4 pm or earlier on game days.
